Narvau Gorges dug by the Auxois in the granite border of the Morvan, site with pedestrian routes and ideal for climbing
A listed historic site, the Narvau gorges were dug by the Auxois in the granite edge of the Western Morvan, south-west of Lormes. The windmill district and the successive waterfalls are worth a visit, especially in spring, when the blue hyacinths light up the undergrowth. The gorges are also a real paradise for climbing lovers. Signposted footpaths and a picnic area punctuate the site, making this magnificent setting even more attractive. Map of the gorges available at the Tourist Office.
