KENO CITY MINING MUSEUM
A small, friendly and well-designed museum that tells the story of how the gold and silver mines worked at the time.
This small, friendly and well-designed museum allows you to learn more about the history of the gold and silver mines of the region at the beginning of the 20th century. Tools, photographs and a charming and knowledgeable staff bear witness to this pivotal time for the Yukon Territory, as well as to the rather difficult life of prospectors in a very isolated part of the territory. Next to the museum, the Alpine Interpretative Centre is the starting point for several hiking trails. Very interesting to know how the mines worked at the time.
