GAEC OLIVIER LAPORTE
Located in Maux, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, the Laporte Guy farm specializes in breeding Charolais beef. In 2005, Olivier Laporte took over the family business and processes the meat directly in the farm's laboratory. Visitors can learn more about the Charolais cattle-breeding profession during a 1.5-hour tour by appointment. Before leaving, they can also stop off at the farm's adjoining sales outlet to sample some of the products made from the farm's meat, including beef terrines. Deliveries are also available to the Nevers, Lyon and Paris regions.
