COLEGIATA DE SAN MIGUEL
Monumental brick church featuring a Baroque altarpiece crowned by a statue of San Miguel Arcángel.
This monumental church, built entirely of brick, is a major work of Aragonese Baroque from the late 17th century. Flanked by two towers that rise to a height of 50 meters, it houses an admirable choir made of walnut wood and richly decorated (two series of saints lined up in the order of the litanies in two rows of stalls) signed by the sculptor Sebastián de Medina and a Baroque altarpiece crowned by a statue of San Miguel Arcángel (Saint Michael) signed by Gregorio Fernández. It is on the roofs of this temple that the storks nest!
