The address in Lockhart is the original address of Black's Barbecue, opened in 1932. Edgar Black Jr., the founder of Black's Barbecue, was even invited by President Lyndon B. Johnson to represent Texas barbecue at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington. Still owned by the Blacks, it is an institution in the area and some Austinites don't hesitate to drive the 30 miles to Lockhart for a carnivorous treat. Eight different types of meat, including the brisket that cooks for 14 hours in a stew, will delight you.

Un véritable régal : un grand choix de viandes cuites à souhait notamment du bœuf qui fond sous la dent. Un établissement à ne pas manquer si vous passez dans les environs.
