CAMEL DRIVER'S MINARET (MENAR-E SAREBAN)
With its 54 m high, the minaret of the chamelier is the highest in Ispahan, largely dominating the maze of venelle characterizing the neighborhood opposite the Friday mosque, and you will surely find that it is also the most beautiful. Erected by the Seldjoukides around the xiith century, he was certainly part of a mosque with no trace. Its brick decorations are admirable, with three large parts separated by fries. Note the combination of the first level bricks, forming stars that the faïs just develop, without dominating the decoration of the whole. The name of the minaret is inspired by a camel caravan trail that passes to its feet.
