The village also has its own local guide service and bungalows run by the community. It is difficult to arrive without warning, but by phoning beforehand, you can organize the route to the Toroyacu waterfall in a 4 day/3 night trek called "Amazonas Inka Trail". The prices will be more accessible, the comfort more basic. The project, under the supervision of Rodrigo, works on the basis of fair trade: the costs of the excursion are partly paid back to the communities. It is possible to join this project as a volunteer.
