Artificial lake formed by the dam of the Bidente and Rio Celluze rivers
Next to the village of Ridracoli is the artificial lake, formed by the dam of the rivers Bidente and Rio Celluzze, which provides drinking water to the entire Romagna region and is also a beautiful excursion to take with the family in an evocative landscape. A 6 km hike through the woods, with a 150 m difference in altitude, leads to the Cà di Sopra refuge, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the lake. It is also possible to take electric boat or canoe rides in the artificial lake and to visit Idro, the water museum of Ridracoli.
