Don't expect a hotel to spend the night, but rather a makeshift restaurant tucked away at the end of a wooden pontoon at the edge of the bolong. Upstairs, you'll enjoy a lovely view of this picturesque little port in the heart of the mangroves, while tasting a generous, well-prepared local dish. From here, you can board a boat to discover isolated islands such as James Island, and watch birds, crocodiles and even hippos along the way. At the entrance to the site, a few local vendors wait impatiently for tourists.
