MAKASUTU PARK
A small Eden in a haven of greenery, offering several pirogue trips to discover hundreds of bird species.
It is hard to believe that such a green haven could be so close to the Banjul airport. And yet, it's a whole other world out there for you. The baboons come to greet you in groups of ten as soon as you enter the park. Several walks are possible, in the luxuriant forest as well as in the mangrove, in dugout canoes. In addition to the fauna and flora, you can also observe the production process of palm wine, or visit the forest healer. Several hundred species of birds live in this small paradise. A real change of scenery.
