The construction of the temple, of late Romanesque style, dates back to the th century, although the Renaissance portal dates back to the th century. But the most remarkable part of this church is inside, where one can admire a superb Hispano-Flemish altarpiece of 1510-1518 (late Gothic), Gothic stalls dating back to 1500 and tomb of the counts of Buendia.

Eglise de Sta Maria de la Asuncion à Dueñas, Espagne
L’Église de Santa Maria de la Asuncion se trouve à Dueñas en Espagne. C’est une belle église dont j’ai dû me contenter d’admirer les extérieurs car elle était fermée le jour de ma visite. Un panonceau apposé sur la grille à l’entrée informe concernant les jours d’ouverture selon les mois ou les évènements religieux.
