MENGOZ SNACK

At the crossroads, just opposite the Mont Lubin covered market and close to the petrol station, this is THE canteen on this part of the island, the one that attracts the whole of Rodrigues from the heights. A boutique, as we say here, where you'll find nothing but fresh, good, well-cooked, tasty and hearty: fried mines, upside-down bowls, paow, snacks and daily specials at low prices. On Fridays, Mirella prepares a typical Rodriguan dish based on pork curry, corn, bringelle and red beans. A pretty, simple but dapper dining room, where you can sit and eat in and/or take away.
