Park dedicated to Buddha featuring a lake, a small museum, a meditation center and a large 40 m statue of Gautama
Inaugurated on March 25, 2013 by the Dalai Lama, the Tathagata Tsal is a park dedicated to Buddha. The main attraction is the superb and imposing almost 40-meter statue of Gautama Buddha, visible for miles around. Inside, you can see a small statue of Buddha containing some of his relics donated by various monasteries in Asia. The complex also houses a lake, a meditation center and a small museum.
