Mama Espinoza, who disappeared at the age of 109 in March 2016, opened her restaurant in 1930, turning it into a real institution in the region. It stands out for having been the first check-point of the world famous motorcycle race "Baja 1000" in 1967. It serves specialities based on langoustine (from September to March) and crab: soups, burritos and omelettes, among other festivities. Breakfasts are served with fresh fruit juices. The place is also a convenient motel for travellers stopping in late afternoon.
