Music, dance, crafts, food, games... Cajun culture takes center stage at this annual festival, which attracts visitors from all over the region. It's a chance to go back to the roots of Cajun identity and celebrate the "old days". The festival is usually held at the Lafourche Central Market. Each year, a contest is organized for the "queens of the party", with the winners crowned (in the truest sense of the word) and thus becoming ambassadors of Cajun culture. New for 2024: the return of the pirogue races!
