The sanctuary of "jaillissantes" or "vital force" is surrounded by a forest where a tree, Nagi-no-Ki, is over 800 years of age. He is often the first to be visited by his proximity to the station. It contains sacred treasures. Further on Mount Gongen, the giant rock Gotobiki-iwasitué. One legend is that the Dieux gods came on earth using this huge stone, which now serves as a cult object.
