The building that houses Shima Kitchen is an old abandoned house that was renovated by architect Abe Ryo during the 2010 Setouchi Triennial. The place aims to be a place of sharing where people can meet around art and food. It is not only a restaurant: various workshops and artistic events also take place there. Not to mention that the food is simply delicious! It is highly recommended to book in advance during the festivities. Not to be missed.
