ÉTANG DE MARVY
The pond of Marvy is recognized as one of the three most important reedbeds in Burgundy and is classified Natura 2000.
Created in the 18th century for fishing, the pond of Marvy is a site of 16 ha of reed beds, natural woodlands, wetlands and poplar plantations. Recognized as one of the three most important reedbeds in Burgundy (with nearly 4 ha), the pond of Marvy is classified Natura 2000. With its incredible environmental richness, the site is the privileged place for the reproduction, the wintering and the resting point of several species of birds in the course of migration, visible since the observatory placed at the disposal of the visitors.
