One of the closest and quickest organized beaches to the city center. Let's be honest, the shorter the drive from Athens, the more unpleasant the beach is likely to be. But that doesn't stop you from finding the place pleasant in its own way, relaxing. Simpler than the other beaches, Akti Iliou offers beach volleyball and beach soccer. Three snack bars are open as well as a bar; toilets and showers are of course nearby, as well as deckchairs and parasols in rows. Nice grass to lay your towel on.
