This church is an architectural curiosity that is much talked about. Also called the "blockhouse" church, it was built in 1966 by Claude Parent, architect of the Fonction Oblique, and offers an interior bathed in diffuse light that gives the whole a surprising clarity. Classified as a Historic Monument in 2000, the monument celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2016: on this occasion, a landscaped area and a set of concrete furniture were created.

Je recommande la visite avec la guide de la ville. Un moment de découverte de l'histoire de cet édifice qui est très atypique.
Today the church looks empty and abandoned. The front door was closed / locked. One can enter the church through the door on the side which is open.
Still the altar was lit dimly and there was the red light next to the tabernacle.
The benches inside the church seem ok as in have not deteriorated.
You get a strange sad feeling around the church
