ESPACE BERNADETTE
Space housing a reconstruction of the Massabielle cave, as well as the Bernadette museum
In 1853, Monsignor Dufêtre, Bishop of Nevers, bought a piece of land around Saint-Gildard church where, in 1856, many buildings were constructed to house the community of the Sisters of Charity. It is in the chapel of the Espace Bernadette that the body of Bernadette Soubirous rests in a shrine. Beatified in 1925, she was canonized on December 8, 1933 by Pius XI. You will discover in this space a reconstruction of the Massabielle cave, as well as the Bernadette Museum. Thousands of pilgrims and visitors come here to meditate.

A voir absolument.
Rooms were comfortable. Nice garden, well maintained.
Françoise was helpful as well.
L'ensemble des bâtiments est imposant et un peu retiré près du parc Roger Salengro.
