In the heart of the village, the Artés cooperative is the heir to the Sindicat Agrícola d'Artés, created at the very beginning of the 20th century. A visit to the bodega, which produces wines and cavas, gives you an insight into the processes involved in their production and allows you to discover one of the historical reference points of wine culture in the Bages region. The cooperative participated in the recovery of the indigenous Picapoll variety, supported by the Pla de Bages Denomination of Origin, which it first marketed in 1995. On site, Espai Artium is a very beautiful modern tasting space with a wooded setting where you can enjoy a glass of wine, vermouth or cava, a delicious platter of cold meats and local cheeses. Finally, the agro-boutique, which gives pride of place to the regional terroir, is a must for all lovers of ecological and local products.
