This magnificent building made of carved hardwood and stone houses an anthropological museum, a health centre, a school and a library. At the origin of the creation of the place, is a teacher of Greek origin, Athanasios, who had already collected donations in his home country to build schools, clinics, drinking water supply systems, and maternity wards. But it was also important to him to create a place that would allow him to bear witness to the history and culture of the Kalash people. Built between 2001 and 2005, the museum exhibits about 1,300 objects: traditional wool and handmade clothing, jewellery, musical instruments, various utensils... You can also visit a replica of a traditional habitat reproduced inside the museum.
