FONTE DI COPPI
This is a recommended stop for all cycling enthusiasts, where the bicycle of Fausto Coppi, a prodigious climber, is located.
This is a mandatory stop for all cycling enthusiasts! Indeed, the bike of Fausto Coppi (1919-1960), Italian cycling legend and prodigious climber, nicknamed "campionnissimo", has been placed here in homage to the natural source of the Ginestra. Fausto Coppi liked to come and train on the island of Elba, and was used to quench his thirst at this fountain. Where did he go? In the small town of the Ginestra, on the road that leads to Rio nell'Elba from Porto Azzurro, along via Bivio Boni Cavo.
