Many departures a day for Chicago, either direct (offered only on the departure of 6 h - total journey of 4:10 a. m.) or by bus to Kalamazoo then by train to Chicago (between 3:15 a. m. and 3:40 a. m.). Several departures a day for Detroit: departure at 6 h with Wolverine Line including a transfer to Chicago for arrival at 7:10 p. m. (total journey of approximately 9:30 a. m.); some other daily departures by bus to Kalamazoo, then Wolverine train line to Detroit (total journey of about 4:10). It is possible to reach almost all the major cities of the Midwest from Grand Rapids (and from there the rest of the country).
