This modern designed museum houses a collection of works spanning the period from the Renaissance to modern art, with an emphasis on 19th and 20th century American and European art. Nearly 2,000square meters are dedicated to exhibitions and the museum houses a permanent collection of more than 5,000 works, as well as interesting temporary exhibitions. Its building has been LEED Gold certified since 2008, which was a world first for an art museum. Tip: Admission is free on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm.
