The road to the Nanga Parbat base camp starts very smoothly. It's the same one who rallied Beyal's camp. But once Beyal passed, it intensified, became stiffer and more difficult. However, while it is true that the road is getting rougher and rougher, the landscapes are getting more and more striking. Your efforts will be greatly rewarded when, after climbing a ridge for 30 minutes, struggling through a rocky glacier, then climbing again, you finally reach the 3,900-metre altitude of the base camp!
