A very modern and relatively recent museum since it opened its doors in 2001. Here are exposed the objects found in the tombs of Sicán, on the site of Batán Grande. We can see many metal objects such as ceremonial knives or masks. All the pieces come from two pyramids of the Bosque de Pornac. The most beautiful piece : the great ceremonial tocado: a ceremonial mask decorated with 80 gold feathers. Splendid. A room is dedicated to pottery and the work of archaeologists. There is an interesting little workshop.
