SAN PEDRO LODGE

Rustic and simple bungalows but usually the lodges are several hours away by boat and this one is 30-45 minutes away depending on the season and the water level. The lodge is in the hands of Cato and a team of volunteers but its affordable price and proximity make it an attractive first experience of the jungle. Be warned though, the area, close to the city, is not unspoilt but it is a good starting point to radiate around the attractions of the Rio Nanay. They organize day trips and camping trips around the Yarapa River.
