It is an orphanage for animals and a butterfly farm. A good opportunity to admire jaguars (including the famous Pedro Bello!), tapirs, anteaters, turtles, parrots, red-headed uakari monkeys and a multitude of colorful butterflies (over 40 different species). Beware, an ex-employee has opened his butterfly farm and is looking for customers from the port. Ask for the animal shelter of Gudrun, the founder of Pilpintuwasi.
