ZWENKAUER SEE
Lake Zwenkau is the latest lake in Leipziger Neuseenland, its largest also with 9.7 km² and some 171 million cubic metres of water. Its filling began in 2007 and was officially completed on May 9, 2015. In terms of tourism, Lake Zwenkau shines through its marina, the attractiveness of its waters and shores. A wide range of leisure activities can be enjoyed on site. Swimming and swimming, quite simply, but also learning to sail, rent a dinghy, paddle or motor boat.
