CAYE CAULKER FOREST RESERVE
Reserve on the northern tip of the island, with small lagoons, a wildlife sanctuary ideal for birdwatching
The reserve is located on the northern tip of the island and covers an area of 40 hectares, consisting mainly of red, white and black forests and mangroves. It is a sanctuary for wildlife, with many birds and other amphibians and reptiles to be seen in the small lagoons here and there: crocodiles, boas, turtles, etc. In recent years, however, property developers have begun to take an interest in this area, so let's hope they don't destroy it.
