KULLA BRAHIM HOXHA
The kulla of the Hoxha family is one of the most famous of Junik. It is commonly referred to as Kulla e Junikut or Oda e Junikut. This house, and especially its oda, was not just the place where decisions were made under the Kanun. It was also one of the main places where Albanian activists held meetings and organised themselves to resist those they regarded as invaders.
The owner of this kulla, Ime Ime was indeed an activist of the Albanian National Movement and a member of the Prizren league.
This kulla, like many others, was unfortunately burned in 1999, damaging wood structures heavily. It has been restored since then.
