This small stone house (Kulla e Azem dhe Shotë Galicës, Kula Azema i Šote GaLice) is located in the village of Galica (230 inhabitants, all Albanians). It was built in 2013 on the site of the former kula of two figures of Albanian nationalism, Azem Galica (1889-1924) and his wife Shota (1895-1927). Both were leaders of the kachak ("outlaw") movement for Albanian national awakening. The site also houses the two symbolic (empty) graves of the couple.
