Sacred places are never far away in Myanmar... This Buddhist temple, the most famous of the city, is an interesting complex, which also offers a magnificent view on the whole city of Myeik, as well as on its port, because like many times in the country, the Theindawgyi pagoda is nestled at the top of a hill ! From the temple, about 20 minutes walk northwards to Mingalar Lake, you can then find the town market. One of the first interests to meet a city.
