DUDLEY FARM
Farm belonging to Erastus Dudley, farmer in Guilford, with a reconstruction of the period with furniture and objects of the late 19th century
This 1844 farmhouse is the most recent building in Guilford's historic sites. It belonged to Erastus Dudley, a prosperous farmer from the town who also owned a tannery and a wheat mill. The tour includes a period re-enactment with furniture and objects from the late 19th century and a presentation of the farm's inhabitants. Every year, between May and October, a market with local vendors is held every Saturday from 9am to 12.30pm. There you can buy fresh organic products and handicrafts.
