SPRING PARK
Park with an old spring pavilion dating from the century in Pourges, a pleasant place for a walk, to be discovered.
Between the 16th and 20th centuries, Pougues-les-Eaux was famous for its thermal baths, and people came to take advantage of the benefits of the springs, the most famous of which, the Saint-Léger spring, gave a gaseous and "salty" water (calcium bicarbonate) at a temperature of 12°C. It is within the park that the old spring pavilion is located, dating from the 20th century. The town of Pougues was one of the first spas in France to practice hydrotherapy. The park is now appreciated by the inhabitants who find here a place for walks.
