Visit the vineyards of Pouilly-sur-Loire, an AOC area since 1937.
The cultivation of the vine reigns supreme here. With an AOC since 1937, the vineyard covers a little over 1,200 hectares and, together with Pouilly-sur-Loire, includes the communes of Garchy, Saint-Andelain, Tracy-sur-Loire, Saint-Martin-sur-Nohain, Saint-Laurent-l'Abbaye and Mesves-sur-Loire. The Chasselas and Sauvignon grape varieties are enriched by the geology of the soils to give the wine its flinty taste. The Tour du Pouilly-Fumé is the worthy representative of this wine culture.
