Presque Isle Park is a beautiful natural haven just north of downtown, on a peninsula jutting into Lake Superior.

Designed by Fredrick Law Olmsted, the landscape architect who designed Central Park in New York, it is a superb natural haven just north of the city centre, on a peninsula extending into Lake Superior. The place is very famous for the Blackrocks, a cliff of volcanic rock 4.5 meters high and from the top of which the most courageous dive into the lake. You can also hike or tease the fish, for example. To see the most beautiful sunsets, go to Sunset Point.
