Banjska means baths in Serbian. The village has a source of dioxide hot water (48 ° C) which has long been recognized for therapeutic virtues. In May 2015, the old unsanitary buildings in the thermal baths were razed and a project for thermal complex on the site was in project. Only the source, emerging from the slope, is still visible.
