Museum housing a collection of ancient stoneware, with permanent exhibition themes and temporary exhibitions.
After a passionate quest for more than 25 years, Annick and Thierry Leproust have assembled an exceptional collection of antique stoneware, of which more than 1,200 pieces are presented here. Three themes animate the permanent exhibition: traditional stoneware from Puisaye, including the "blues" from Puisaye, traditional stoneware from Berry, with the singular works of the Talbot family, and stoneware from the Carriès school, an artistic movement that has had an impact on the evolution of modern ceramics. Temporary exhibitions regularly enliven the museum's rooms.
