Functional hotel with somewhat narrow but clean rooms in Chiessi, on one of the most beautiful coasts of Elba.
Situated in the heart of the small village of Chiessi, this establishment is a very functional address, with rooms that are a little narrow, but very clean, and enjoy a beautiful panorama. The Aurora Hotel, opened since 1960 (still!), and still run by the Piacentini family, is located on one of the most beautiful coasts of the island of Elba, licked by transparent waters. As far as half-board is concerned, the cuisine on offer is tasty, based on local dishes, seasonal products and mostly km 0.

The hotel is owned and run by a family and from the first time you arrive, you have a sense of being at home thanks to the incredible and welcoming hosts Giorgio and Venusia who are the best hosts that I met.
Giorgio was so helpful and kind with the guests and cares a lot about them and is always at disposal in case of asking for recommendations or advices.
For the breakfasts you can taste delicious homemade marmalade as well as homemade cakes and pastries.
The hotel is also just a few metres away from the town's beach with crystal clear water.
The room is really clean and tidy, and it's cleaned every day and also has air conditioning which is really helpful during hot summer days and the bed is also really comfortable.
If you are coming without a car and would like to visit other places on the island this hotel is also situated in a really nice place as the bus stop is just in front of the building.
I hope I will return to this incredible place.

Ottima posizione per chi cerca un po' di relax, fuori dal caos.
Tutto molto fresco e pulito, le camere con aria condizionata, sono arredate con armadi e cassettiere.
Ripeto, complimenti per la pulizia.
Le colazioni sono sia salate che dolci servite a buffet con una bel tavolo imbadito.
Sono rimasta colpita dai prodotti locali come marmellate e miele dell'Elba.
Molto bello il terrazzo vista mare per la colazione.
