West of Cavo, you have to find this restaurant hidden in the countryside, but the atmosphere and the menu are worth the trip!

Nestled in the middle of nature, this restaurant, opened since 2006, is an atypical little nugget nestled between the mountains. The panoramic terrace, protected by a pergola, is illuminated with candles in the evening. Mavi, who is cooking, and Alessandro, sommelier, welcome you with simplicity and courtesy. The menu, labelled Slow Food, changes every evening, but is the same for everyone. We are seduced by the antipasti, the fresh and tasty dishes, the quality local cuisine. A moment of serenity. Possibility to stay in apartments in a house next door.

Al ritorno da cala Mandriola, abbiamo apprezzato la gentilezza del titolare nel servirci un calice di vino locale ottimo e un assaggio di bruschetta tipica.

Bellissima location immersa nel verde fra animali e foreste. Io, il mio compagno e la nostra esagitata cagnolina abbiamo alloggiato per tre settimane nel monolocale offerto da Alessandro e Milly, e ci siamo trovati benissimo. I proprietari sono stati sempre molto disponibili con noi nonostante il carattere non proprio docile del nostro cane. L'abitazione disponeva di tutto il necessario per trascorrere una piacevolissima vacanza e abbiamo anche usufruito della griglia esterna per arrostire pesce e scampi comprati freschi dal pescivendolo di Cavo. Location perfetta per godere di una vacanza in mezzo alla natura con la giusta distanza dai luoghi più turistici dell'isola che sono però facilmente raggiungibili in macchina. Viaggiare su Cavo da Piombino è inoltre più breve ed economico che andare a Portoferraio. Molto valido anche il ristorante, raggiungibile comodamente anche a piedi dall'agriturismo. Infine, l'agriturismo è rivolto verso Ovest, assicurando ogni sera tramonti incredibili. Che aggiungere? Speriamo di riuscire a tornare l'anno prossimo!
