The small town of Gonnosfanadiga is renowned for its olive oil, one of the best in Sardinia. It is part of the Città dell'Olio circuit, along with Alghero, Orosei, Cabras... For wine lovers, there's one address you'll want to keep in mind to make up your own mind: Agricura. This family-run estate, managed with respect for biodiversity by Andrea Ghiani, produces a precious extra-virgin olive oil. The family also perpetuates the tradition of lentisque oil (a variety of pistachio tree) with its highly medicinal properties.
