Contic offers cruises departing from Dhaka on the Golden Arrow, a traditional barge. The idea was born in the head of Yves Eid, a French living in Bangladesh for over 20 years. Realizing that the traditional naval know-how was dying, he decided, along with his wife Runa Khan, to save him. They have built two boats by local carpenters, using only ancestral techniques and sourcés natural materials in the country.
