AJIYER
Ajiyer is a small agency specialized in ethical and sustainable tourism. In the programme, original excursions around thematic themes such as crafts, music or food. In particular, it proposes a visit to the Tangail region, from one day to 3 days. To this end, it has established a partnership with UBINIG, an NGO that works for rural development and solidarity. It's an opportunity to look at rural Bangladesh and learn how they keep seed, make soufflé rice or mustard oil. Ajiyer also offers numerous activities aimed at textiles, such as the artisanal manufacture of natural dyes or the visit of Jacquard production workshops. These visits are all the more exciting as Shamim, the organizer, lets you hand your hand to the dough. For stays with nights on site, the accommodation is made in a recent building in the spartan comfort. Single rooms and en suite bathrooms nevertheless. We strongly recommend these stays, for their originality and for the discovery of an authentic Bangladesh.
