SATYAPIR BHITA
The temple of Satyapir Bhita dates from the th century. 50 terracotta circular plates found on the site (including an illustration of a 8-arms goddess), allowed that dating. Research has identified the goddess, called Tara, who is a female representation of Buddha in mahayana Buddhism. The trapeze site is closed by a wall with the exception of the north side. The temple, as well as its access, was in the south. It was 15 m wide and 24 m long. The shrine was supported by a lobby supported by pillars. The complex also has 132 votive sanctuaries which testify to its past importance.
