LAC DE SAINT-AGNAN
Lake developed for fishing and which hosts a leisure base for windsurfers
The lake of Saint-Agnan was created in 1969 on a surface of 140 ha. Its task is to supply drinking water to thirty or so communes, and motor boats are prohibited. The dam built on the Trinquelin, at the northern end of the lake, uses a natural slope and offers a breathtaking view of the lake and, on the other side, of the immense forest where the Pierre-Qui-Vire is hidden. The lake is equipped for fishing and hosts a leisure base for windsurfers. Quiet and preserved, the lake's surroundings offer a new 9 km circuit with a footbridge.
