It's not easy to find cheap AND decent accommodation in Srimongol. With their strong tourist appeal, the town and surrounding area is mostly made up of mid-range guesthouses and luxury hotels. The Green View, opened in 2012, is undoubtedly the best option for small budgets, especially as the slight altitude means that the climate is cooler than anywhere else, so air conditioning is only essential during the summer months. The furniture is simple and the bedding a little hard, as the Bangladeshis like it, and the bathrooms are quite acceptable. The hotel is only 100 m from the private bus counters and 200 m from the Habiganj bus station.
