ESPACE CÉRAMIQUE JACQUES JEANNENEY
Exhibition space, with wood-fired stoneware for sale
Named after the two last owners in the 20th century, Roger Jacques (artisan potter) and Paul Jeanneney (sculptor), this exceptional site has been given a new lease of life by the Association pour la Sauvegarde du Patrimoine Potier de Puisaye. A visit to the site allows you to appreciate the scale of Saint-Amand's oldest kiln (1820), to see the lodge where firewood was stored, to admire its typical roof, and above all to understand the organization of a potter's workshop.
